At Saturday's Ragin' Cajuns baseball game against Texas State, UL head coach Tony Robichaux came out to argue a reversed call that went against the Cajuns. During the interaction, home plate umpire Don Hudson claims that Coach Robichaux bumped him not once but twice.

Robichaux was immediately ejected and because of the "bumps", now faces a four-game suspension. By NCAA rule, one bump results in an automatic two-game suspension and two bumps equates to an automatic four games.

He did not coach in today's final game versus Texas State at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

UL is looking into whether or not they can appeal the suspension.

Associate head coach Anthony Babineaux is assuming Coach Robe's duties in his absence.
