If you have always wanted to learn how to play the Cajun fiddle, or the accordion, or the learn Creole or Zydeco vocals...well, now is your chance to learn! UL Lafayette has traditional music classes taught by actual local musicians, and if you are not a student this semester, you still have time to get in these fascinating, and oh so local courses.

Some of the courses being offered include Cajun and Zydeco Music,  button accordion classes, taught by Corey Ledet, of Corey Ledet and His Zydeco Band, and Cajun and Creole vocals, taught by Kristi Guillory, of Bonsoir Catin. You can also learn beginning Cajun fiddle, taught by Brazos Huval. These ALL sound fun, and even better yet, are offered under the Dr Tommy Comeaux Memorial Endowed Fund for Traditional Music.
