UL Makes List Of ’15 Unusual College Mottos’

All education institutions have mottos. They make a statement about what the school is all about. Usually it's something Latin about honor, respect, you know, inspiring stuff. Sometimes though, they get a little strange. Our very own University of Louisiana has made the list of "15 Unusual College Mottos". Do you even know what UL's school motto is?

UL's motto is "Fortiter, feliciter, fideliter". It's a Latin phrase, translated it means "Boldly, Happily, Faithfully." Doesn't sound that strange to me, but I guess in the context of a University credo it's a little odd.
