UL Softball #20 In Latest RPI Rankings
Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team is up one spot, to number twenty, in this week's RPI rankings, released by the NCAA, on Monday.
Louisiana, who swept a three-game weekend, Sun Belt Conference series from the ULM Warhawks over the weekend, have now won 22-consecutive games, and finished thier regular season schedule with an overall record of 40-11.
The Cajuns will take part in the SUN Belt Conference Tournament this week, in Troy, Alabama.
Oklahoma remains the top RPI team, followed by Florida, Texas, Oregon, and LSU in the top five.
Rounding out the top ten, in the 6-10 spots, it's Alabama, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri.
Two other Sun Belt Conference schools, South Alabama, and WKU, are ranked 15, and 28, respectively, in this week's RPI standings.
