It's the moment every angler dreams about, catching two fish at the same time. But to catch two fish at the same time with your bare hands, that is unbelievable.

It happened on Lake Austin and it was a lot more about luck than it was about skill. The fisherman just happened across a strange encounter in the water. What he saw was two keeper sized bass. One bass had his mouth open wide trying to swallow the other fish! The second fish was just too big and they both were caught in a rather precarious position.

Fortunately for the fish our fisherman friend was wise in the ways of catch and release and that is just what he did. He scooped up both fish, separated them from each other and then returned them both to waters of Lake Austin. If you believe in karma then you'll love this, later that day the same angler landed an 11.75 pound bass.
