United Way Benefit Car Show and BBQ Cook Off August 29 in Henderson

The very first  BBQ Cookoff and Jeep Ride / Car Show will be held in Henderson on Saturday, August 29. Festivities will take place at Henry Guidry Memorial Park, and proceeds will benefit United Way of Acadiana. 'United For The Ride of Life' is a great family friendly event, so make sure you put this on your calendar! All vehicles will be welcome to participate, and there will be lots of activities for the kids, as well as delish food and beverages. A $5 entry fee will get you all the BBQ you can eat from the teams who are competing.

Entry fees for drivers is $20 in advance, $25 day of ride, and $5 for passengers. Entry for BBQ Cook off is $75 for business and professionals, $50 for individuals, and $25 for students and non profit organizations.
