UPDATE: Body Of Missing Coteau Man Found In Pond

The body of 83-year-old Leroy Blaze has been located in a pond near his home in Coteau.

The search near Iberia Parish's Fremin Road was tragically concluded today when Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries agents found Blaze's body as they initiated a search of a pond near Blaze's home.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed the body found was that of the missing man.

Blaze had been missing since Tuesday morning when he left his home sometime between 4 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
