UPDATE – Death Of Elderly Man In Carencro Ruled Accidental

The death of an 85-year-old man in Carencro over the weekend has been ruled an accident by the coroner.

Carencro Police Chief Carlos Stout says his office was asked to investigate the incident, which happened in the 200 block of Arceneaux Road on Saturday, after the elderly man fell and hit his head.

Chief Stout says the coroner ruled that no foul play was involved, which makes the investigation complete and the case closed.
