You are invited to spend the day at the beautiful Vermilionville as they celebrate their annual Creole Culture Day this Sunday, June 9, 2013 at their historic park. Ever wonder how the Creole community maintains their special heritage? Find out this weekend while you enjoy the folklore, food, music, and outdoor activities. This sounds like a perfect Sunday fun-day!

This year's Creole Culture Day will focus on:  family folklore, storytelling, cooking demonstrations, Creole exhibits, children's activities, Creole music, boat tours and canoeing, and much more! You can two step in the Performance Center while Gerard Delafose & The Zydeco Gators as well as Corey & The Zydeco Hot Peppers jam away. Plus, Brandon Ledet will be playing Creole music in the village. Vermilionville and C.R.E.O.L.E., Inc. are also partnering with United Blood Services to host a blood drive on-site from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
