Reports that came out on Monday say that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has been in contact with 71-year-old Bill Parcells about taking over as the interim coach of the team for the 2012 season.

By now you've probably heard that the NFL came down hard on the New Orleans Saints due to "Bounty Gate". Head coach Sean Payton was suspended for the entire 2012 season. Former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was canned indefinitely along with current assistant coach Joe Vitt who was suspended for 6 games. The team was also fined $500,000 and had two 2nd round picks yanked from them.
