What Is This Egret Doing?

Real soon I am going to post my collection of photos I’ve taken from around the area of things that make you go “huh?” I just get a kick out of seeing things that are random and funny. I’ve got funny billboards, weird products at the store and animals!

This picture was too good to wait to show you. I was at my favorite McDonald’s drive-thru the other day and as I’m waiting to order I see something in the rear view mirror. I’m thinking, “what’s this egret doing hanging out at the McDonald’s drive-thru?” Surely the darn thing is going to fly away after I roll down my window and start talking to the nice lady on the other side of the drive-thru speaker box.

Nope, not so much. The bird (which I believe is an egret) proceeds to hang out with me while I order. Looks like it might have been hungry too.
