An elderly man at a Detroit, Michigan polling location apparently keeled over on Monday afternoon while voting. Good thing there was an EMT voting nearby.

"His wife, who was helping him fill out the ballot...screamed for help and I went over to see what I could do," said the medic Ty Houston.

Houston quickly assessed the unidentified victim. "He was dead," Houston recalled. "He had no heartbeat and he wasn't breathing. I started CPR, and after a few minutes, he revived and started breathing again."

After coming back to life, the first question the elderly man asked his wife was, "Did I vote?" His very relieved wife informed him that he did in fact vote and he was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
