The attorney for Wade Lohse has filed a motion asking for a change of venue for his client's trial.  Thomas V. Alonzo filed a change-of-venue motion to the court.

Police say Lohse was allegedly drunk at the wheel when he crashed into Cacie Barras McGrew's car on June 10, 2012.  McGrew died as a result of the crash, and Lohse is facing a charge of vehicular homicide.

Media coverage of Wade Lohse included information on his criminal background and a YouTube video he posted while on the run by police.

Alonzo says these issues and others are reasons he believes the judge should order of change-of-venue in the case.

Lohse's trial is set for July 22.
