I was scrolling through YouTube today, and stumbled across this video posted in June of last year. YouTuber cadcTV has it titled as "Craziest Police Chase Moment Captured in Lafayette Louisiana!!" and after watching it, I can't help but agree.

As he's at the light on Ambassador Caffery, out of nowhere a car comes speeding by him through the intersection. The car almost collides head-on with another vehicle, but at the last second the driver cuts his wheel and misses, sending the car into a crazy fishtail for about an entire block.

A moment later, Lafayette police are seen in pursuit of the runaway vehicle.

From cadcTV's video description -

So, I was on my way home when out of the blue, a run away driver attempting to outrun police Flew by my car at likely 90 Miles Per hour, trying to dodge traffic and fish tailing into a wild 360 Spin out! (I had my windows open, and I could instantly smell the burning rubber as he broke hard in an attempt to regain control)

I Called police to notify that I had captured this on my dashcam, and later that night, the police officer from the first Tahoe Suburban squad van contacted me to let me know that earlier as he was directing traffic, this man attempted to run him over.

Thanks to cadcTV for giving us permission to post this. There's a bad word in the video, so be careful if you're at work or around little ones.
