There are a few items for some precincts when it comes to voting in Acadia Parish.

The general election will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, but early voting is under way now through this Saturday, April 21, 2018. You can early vote from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. each day.
The following is a tax renewal items that is on the ballot for some voters in Acadia Parish:

Fire Protection District No. 4 - 8.07 Mills Renewal - BOC - 10 Yrs.  (Select 1)

NOTICE: This ballot item is in only part of this precinct; depending on your address, you might not be eligible to vote on this item. If you need further information, contact the Acadia Parish Registrar of Voters.  

Shall Fire Protection District No. 4 of the Parish of Acadia, State of Louisiana (the "District"), be authorized to continue to levy a special tax of eight and seven hundredths (8.07) mills (an estimated $649,635 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year) on all the property subject to taxation in the District for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2019 and ending with the year 2028, for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and/or operating fire protection facilities and equipment in and for the District, and paying the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes?
