Wheel of Fortune Contestant Solves Puzzle With Only One Letter Turned [Video]

Many years ago I was playing Wheel of Fortune on my computer at home and guessed at a puzzle with zero letters turned and I was correct. The category was "Event" and answer was "The World Series".

I have no way of proving that but thought you might be just a little impressed.

There is proof of a pretty amazing solve on the popular game show. A contestant named Matt DeSanto recently solved a puzzle with only one letter turned!

Here is what he had to work with.

That is pretty stout that he was able to figure it out. Albeit, the category was "Character" so that obviously helped him out.

Here's how it went down.

Matt actually is pretty awesome at solving puzzles. He ended up guessing every puzzle during the main game, earning a whopping $91,892.

It was the show's first sweep since 2011 and DeSanto became the first person ever to top even $70,000 before the bonus round.

Unfortunately he didn't guess the bonus round puzzle, but that's still a pretty nice haul.
