When Do You Put Up Your Christmas Tree?

OK, I'll be up front. When I drove through my neighborhood last weekend and saw that one of the houses was in full blown Griswold mode with their entire house lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree, I was a bit miffed. I mean it's not even Thanksgiving yet, it's 75 degrees, and if I'm not mistaken, these are the same people who left their Christmas lights up until Mardi Gras last year.

It just seems like the holidays are being shoved down our throats earlier and earlier each year, mainly by retailers who want to capitalize of the good will of the season. Or maybe it's just because we never did ANYTHING Christmas-y until after the last turkey sandwich was eaten at my house. But...as my mom used to say, if we were all alike, life would be boring.

So tell us, what is your family tradition about putting up the decorations and tree? Is it too early right now, or just right? Let us know, Dawgs!
