You have probably seen it all over social media or even our YouTube channel, but do you know where it came from?

The Charlie Charlie Challenge has taken over the social media scene lately. Michael.Scott and I were so curious as to how it worked that we tried it ourselves as you may have already seen. However, the even bigger question I am sure you would like answered is where did it come from?

I did some cyber searching and this is what I discovered. The challenge has different variations (the pencil challenge or Charlie challenge) has been around for quite some time. When we found out about it, we initially thought it was some sort of Mexican game. However, I cannot find anything to support this theory.

So, who is this mysterious Charlie fellow? Some say it is a young boy who took his life while other claim it to be a Mexican demon with black and red eyes. I don't think anyone knows what the legend truly is.

Here is how to do the challenge. Basically, you right yes and no twice on a sheet of paper and cross two pencils on top of it and say 'Charlie Charlie Are you here?' The top pencil is then supposed to move. Michael.Scott and I have debunked it as being fake, however, there are some who claim that it is real and dangerous. I don't know for sure which idea is correct, but the concept of it has blown up on the internet.

If you haven't seen it, here is our variation of the Charlie Charlie Challenge. We seem to think he may just be Cajun!

My question to you is, what do you think about this internet craze?
