Well, this is certainly a mean question.

Look, it's a simple fact of life. There are just some people who make us cringe, who make our blood boil, who make smoke come out of ears and nostrils in a fit of rage.

Maybe it's your ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend. Maybe it's a celebrity (why does Jonah Hill keep getting cast in big movies?). Maybe it's Donald Trump. Maybe it's an anonymous person who somehow ruined your life (yeah, we're talking about you, guy who created the online click-thru slideshow).

And maybe you need to express yourself in a physical manner that hearkens back to the Neanderthals.

The issue has come to the forefront because Martin Shkreli -- the nearly universally-despised CEO who raised the price of the AIDS drug Daraprim from $13.50 a pill to $750 -- is auctioning off the chance to punch him. He's doing it to raise money for the family of his PR consultant, who recently passed away. Specifically, he wants to help the man's son, who Shkreli says survived cancer. (Yes, there's an irony in the fact he wants to help someone who's fought cancer, but proved to be anything but a humanitarian when it came to those fighting AIDS.)

Shkreli's unorthodox method for raising money certainly unleashes the Hulk from our collective Bruce Banners. And he surely knew that the line of people who'd like to deck him would be longer than any created by fans camping out for another Star Wars movie.

So, if you could clench your fist and sock it to someone, who would it be? Still holding a grudge against that kid who tripped you in the cafeteria while you walked past the girl you had a crush on? New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is pretty smug, so maybe you want to put him in his place. Or how about that guy in the gym who never wipes down the machines after he's finished?
