Tonight  about midnight you are going to hear it, that song they play when the old year is gone and the new year is here. But why that song and what are the words and just what the heck do they mean?

It is often remarked that "Auld Lang Syne" is one of the most popular songs that nobody knows the lyrics to. "Auld Lang Syne" literally translates as "old long since" and means "times gone by." The song asks whether old friends and times will be forgotten and promises to remember people of the past with fondness, "For auld lang syne, we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet."

So if you want to be guest that is in the know at your new year's party or be the one that the others are calling a know-it-all behind your back, click the link below and find out more about Auld Lang Syne.
