Anxiety is its own special kind of monster. It will eat you from the inside out if you really let it get bad. When that happens, the panic attacks usually begin. If you have ever had a panic attack, you know how unbelievably terrifying they are.

For those who have never experienced one and don't quite understand what they mean, there is no explanation. Anxiety and its effects on a person are simply indescribable. Just know that our minds aren't always a fun place to be. Yes, I said our. This is because I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Bottom line is that it sucks.

Going through this kind struggle isn't something that people like to share. It can be embarrassing and it can actually make things worse knowing that others know about it. Amber Smith's Facebook post sparked others to share their stories and even pictures as well. This is Pete...

Always remember that you never know what the person next to you is going through. Those who suffer from anxiety aren't any different than others. They aren't something to be scared of. They are simply the same as the migraine sufferer, the handicapped, and the man in line at the grocery store.

I hope this story and the story of these brave people can help you with whatever it is you may be going through. Much love!
