Willie Nelson isn't slowing down a bit since turning 80 years old, and he still has a heart of gold. It's no secret that Texas is dear to his heart, and he proved that with a huge donation  for relief efforts following a deadly fertilizer plant explosion near his Central Texas hometown.

From our friends at the Nashville Tennessean: Willie presented a check for nearly $81,000 to the West Volunteer Fire Department. Most of the money was raised during Nelson's Austin-area concert last month celebrating his 80th birthday. This is a guy who doesn't forget his roots - thank you for still being so AWESOME, Willie Nelson!
