If we need a reminder of how fab Country Music Hall of Fame member Willie Nelson is, then, this is a very cool way to do that from 1974.The much loved PBS classic show 'Austin City Limits' debuted on January 2, 1974, and Willie gave a rousing version of 'Bloody Mary Morning' to a crowd that probably had no idea that the show would still be running more than 40 years later.

The episode was originally scheduled as a little boost for the fundraising efforts that PBS has become so famous for, and when that happened, after Willie's performance, it was developed into the full blown cornerstone of music that it still is today. Willie rarely made tv appearances at the time, so it was a pretty big deal when it aired. We love his version of the song, and we hope you will too!
