Woman Arrested For Calling 911 Because She Wanted a Divorce

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, a 42-year-old woman in Girard Township, Pennsylvania called 911 with a real emergency. Seems she really, really wanted a divorce!

Yep, that's good enough reason to tie up the county's emergency hotline.

The woman explained to the 911 dispatcher that she and her husband were done. And she had two requests: 1) Give her the divorce. 2) Have the cops come and have her husband taken away.

The 911 dispatcher told the whack job that they don't grant divorces and they couldn't make her husband leave because he hadn't committed any crime.

Needless to say, the woman was cited for disorderly conduct and misusing the 911 system.
