Woman Shoplifts From Rite Aid, Leaves Pile of Poop Behind

During our popular "What Were They Smokin'" feature we have had some really doozies over the years. This one make take the cake.

28-year-old Ashley Timmons of West Roxbury, Massachusetts went into a Rite Aid in Middleton, Connecticut on Sunday and proceeded to steal three phone chargers by shoving them into her purse.

She had to leave something behind to fill the shelf space so no one would ever suspect she was there.

What did she leave? Some poop -- her poop at that!

And it was clear that she did the deed right there in the aisle because the manager of the store found a bunch of poop-streak tissues crumpled up on a shelf nearby.

She was caught because the Rite Aid employees spotted her in the act. Well, in the act of stealing, not the other part thankfully.

Police arrived before she could make her escape and lo and behold they found the chargers in her purse along with a hypodermic needle. She told them she was in town for a wedding and she had the needle because she "occasionally" uses heroin.

She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace, and use of drug paraphernalia.
