Zac Brown paid a pretty penny for the Junior Market Reserve Champion steer at 2017 RodeoHouston auction on Saturday (March 25). The Zac Brown Band frontman bid on the steer, which sold for the second highest price at the auction: a remarkable $330,000.

Brown was in attendance with his wife, Shelly, smiling for the cameras before the auction began.

According to Houston's KHOU, 16-year-old Stock Martin from Hereford, Texas, raised the steer that was bought by Brown.

"It's incredible," Martin tells the publication. "It's so amazing. It's always great to be able to participate in this auction and it's even better when you have all of these people here bidding on your steer. You can only dream of numbers like that."

Zac Brown Band will release their upcoming album, Welcome Home, on May 12, the same day that their Welcome Home Tour kicks off in their hometown of Atlanta, Ga.

“We’re looking forward to heading back on the road in 2017 and sharing some new songs with our fans,” Brown says in a press release.

Their new single "My Old Man" recently got a sweet montage video made by NASCAR. Ahead of the 2017 Daytona 500 last month, NASCAR released a video that spliced together footage of Dale Earnhardt and his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., over the years, using the song as the soundtrack.

Zac Brown Band closed out the final night of the Houston Rodeo on Sunday (March 26), following Brad Paisley, who headlined Saturday night (March 25).

This summer, ZBB will headline at WE Fest 2017, which takes place Aug. 3-5 at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
