Zatarain's, Zat's not right.

The popular Gretna, Louisiana-based company is voluntarily recalling its 8-ounce boxes of Red Beans and Rice Original because the product may contain undeclared dairy ingredients that could prompt serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.

Pas bon!

In a news release, the company says the product may contain Creamy Parmesan Rice Mix with dairy ingredients. The product in question has the words "best by" followed by "July 31 16Z."

So far the company has not received any reports of the mislabeled product resulting in any illnesses or allergic reactions.

The product was shipped to Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
