Bart the cat, now known as Zombie Cat, was hit by a car and left for dead. Bart was buried, and five days later, his owner found him in the arms of his neighbor.

Tampa, Florida resident Ellis Hutson found his beloved cat, Bart, in the road. Appearing to have been hit by a car, Bart was in a pool of blood, and thought to be dead. Because Hutson and Bart were so close, he had his neighbor bury the cat as he watched on.

Five days later, Hutson walked out of his house, and found another neighbor...with Bart in her arms...ALIVE(?!?).

He took Bart to the hospital where the cat was treated for severe head trauma, a broken jaw, and a dead eye. The hospital expects Bart to make a full recovery, except that he will lose an eye.

"The cat came back the very next day. The cat came back....they thought he was a gonner but the cat came back...he just couldn't stay awaaaaaay."
