Breaux Bridge Man Arrested On Multiple Charges
Last night, Patrol Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 1000 block of Grand Anse Hwy., Breaux Bridge.
Upon arrival, Deputies discovered that a male victim, 59, Breaux Bridge, had suffered stab wounds following a physical altercation with a family member, who was later identified as Patrick Mowery, 24, Breaux Bridge.
The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Following the altercation, Patrick Mowery fled the scene prior to Deputies arrival. He was apprehended a short time later in a wooded area behind the residence.
He was taken into custody and following the investigation into the incident, he was charged as follows:
- LA. R.S. 14:27:30.1 Attempted Second Degree Murder-1 count
- LA. R.S. 14:35.3 Domestic Abuse Battery 27:30.1-1 count
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and at the time of this release, no bond had been set
