The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns fall on Wednesday at Tulane 7-3 to the Green Wave.

Brock Batty would get the start for UL.

The Green Wave offense is strong and they flexed their muscle early in this one when Kody Hoese turned around a Batty pitch for a solo home run.

The Cajuns would strand a couple of runners over the first few innings and were unable to break through and score.

Meanwhile, the Tulane offense went back to work against Batty as he surrendered another big fly, this time it was of the two-run variety, 3-0 Green Wave. Grant Cox would come onto replace Batty in that third inning and would get out of it without allowing any additional runs.

In the fourth inning, Louisiana was able to do some damage and chip away at the Tulane lead as Kole McKinnon ripped an RBI double that scored Orynn Veillon. 3-1 Tulane.

However, the Green Wave would come right back and put up a couple of runs of their own in the fourth when Hudson Haskin smoked a two-RBI single and Kobi Owen plated another with an RBI double. That increased the lead to 6-1.

Louisiana wouldn't go down without hearing from Hayden Cantrelle as in the top of the fifth he clubbed his fifth home run since last Friday! Then, in the sixth, it was more production from Kole McKinnon as he laced an RBI double to score another, 6-3 Tulane.

The Green Wave would tack on another run and eventually hold on for a 7-3 victory.

Brock Batty was saddled with the loss, he falls to 1-1 on the season and with the loss the Cajuns fall to 10-12 on the year, snapping their three-game winning streak.

Louisiana will take on Appalachian State at the Tigue this weekend for a three-game set.
