It seems like I am always feeling better when I am eating chocolate. Now is that a fact or just a Bruce fact. I have heard that chocolate is great for getting "in the mood" if you know what I mean, but does it help with actual depression?

Consuming sweet foods, especially chocolate, is thought to release the neurotransmitter beta-endorphin in the hypothalamus, which has an opiate effect on the body.

It is likely that the endorphins and opioids in chocolate help to make people feel more relaxed.

I think if you got me some chocolate I would smile and I bet if I got you chocolate that would make you smile too? Let's do an experiment, you get some chocolate and I will get some chocolate and we will compare notes?
