A person was shot several times after a drive-by shooting Friday morning according to the Lafayette Police Department via a press release.

Corporal Bridgette Dugas says that the a 33-year-old was taken to a hospital yesterday following the shooting incident. The victim is said to be in stable condition.'

All of this was report at around 9 o'clock in the morning in the 100 block of North General Marshall Street.

The car that had the person shooting in it, then fled from the scene.

It was family members that took the victim to the hospital.
