Delcambre, Louisiana, located about 20 miles southwest of Lafayette, is home to one of the biggest shrimping industries in the South. The town wants to celebrate an entire weekend with shrimp cook-offs, queen pageants, fais-do-do's, carnival rides, food court and the blessing of the shrimp boat fleet. Fun for all ages; lots of things to do and eat!

Food and drinks include:  boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp sauce piquante and many more shrimp dishes; hamburger and hot dogs, cold beer, cold drinks and water.
