The Forbes 400 List is compiled each year, and it highlights the 400 wealthiest people in the United States of America.
One of the most interesting parts of their report is that when totalling up all of the riches of those who made the list, it equals a staggering $6.6 trillion.
In addition, the threshold for including the 400 people on the list is set extremely high. To make it onto the list, you need to make at least $3.8 billion a year.

William Goldring, who is 82 years old, and his family are in the number 3 slot in Louisiana. On the Forbes List, he comes in at 246.
According to Forbes, they made their money in the Liquor category. Forbes reports,
William Goldring's Sazerac Company owns some 500 alcohol brands and a dozen distilleries in the U.S., Canada, France, Ireland, and India.
William Goldring took over his family's business from his father, Stephen, in the 1960s. In addition to Fireball, they own other well-known brands like Goldschlager, Southern Comfort, and Pappy Van Winkle. They own a myriad of brands.

The person in our second-place slot in Louisiana, one of the three people from Louisiana on the Forbes 400 List, is a saint of a lady.
Once again this year, Gayle Benson is the second-richest person in Louisiana. She owns the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Benson's worth stands at $7.9 billion. That amount of money puts Benson is slot number 176 on the Forbes 400 List.
In just six years, according to Forbes, her real-time net worth went from $2.9 billion in 2019 to $7.9 billion in 2025.
