Louisiana Inmates Seen on Video Jumping From Rooftop During Escape
(St. Landry Parish) - As we previously reported, three inmates escaped from the St. Landry Parish jail earlier this month, and now we have video of their escape.
Three inmates made a run for their freedom on December 3rd from the St. Landry Parish jail after they broke through walls and scaled walls, and now you can see all three inmates jumping from a rooftop to escape.
Since this escape, Johnathan Jevon Joseph, 24, was captured on Friday, Dec. 5, and Joseph Allen Harrington, 26, died by suicide after police found him in Port Barre.
However, authorities in South Louisiana are still searching for 24-year-old Keith Eli.
Check out the video of the three inmates taking a leap of faith as they ran from the facility in Opelousas earlier this month. Amazingly, they were injured after jumping from this height, but as you'll see, they were not bothered in their fall.
If this looks familiar, well, it's because we've seen inmates in Louisiana make a run for their freedom. How can we forget the ten inmates who broke out from the Orleans Parish Jail?
CNN made a comparison of the escapes, and you can see that here
