Louisiana Mother Walks In on Boyfriend with Her Undressed Pre-Teen Daughter; 27-Year-Old Arrested

A very troubling incident in Sterlington, LA, has led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man after a mother returned home to find her young daughter undressed in his presence.

On Saturday (Aug. 31), around 11:37 AM, deputies from the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence following a sexual assault report, according to KTVE/KARD. The complainant, a local mother, had left her 11-year-old daughter in the care of her boyfriend, Dominique McWright, 27, of Shreveport.

Upon returning home, the mother discovered that the entrance door was locked and began knocking loudly. The 11-year-old victim eventually opened the door, reportedly dressed only in a shirt. Authorities stated that the victim told deputies she went to bed fully clothed but awoke to her mother pounding on the door. When she woke up, she was wearing only a shirt with McWright allegedly on top of her.

The victim informed deputies that she experienced pain in her genital area, and deputies found evidence of semen on the bed, indicating that an assault had occurred. McWright fled the residence before deputies arrived but was later apprehended by authorities.

McWright was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center and charged with First-Degree Rape. If convicted, McWright faces significant penalties.

The incident has shocked the local community, with comments on social media ranging from serious concerns about child safety to conversations surrounding trust within relationships. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.

The victim and her family are receiving support as they cope with the trauma of the incident.
