A South Louisiana woman has set social media on fire after a profanity-laced tirade aimed at road construction workers directing traffic in Sunset. The viral video, posted in multiple clips by Facebook user Daj Ray, captures the woman's frustration at the intersection of Napoleon and Duffy, where road work has been ongoing.

At the center of her anger seems to be the belief that the workers were allowing one group of traffic to move at a much faster rate while she and others remained stuck. Holding her keys in one hand and pointing a finger in the other, she initially assured one worker that it wasn’t his fault before directing her rage toward "whatever a**hole" was "in charge."

Once she locked onto her target, she let loose.

“I watched you let these cars go three times,” she fumed, accusing the worker of making them wait for 30 minutes without moving. As the man tried to de-escalate, telling her not to harass his workers, she fired back, saying she felt sorry for them having to work under his leadership.

Before walking off, she called him a "dumba**" and took one final shot: “That’s why you can’t get a better job”

Social Media Reacts

The comments section exploded, with mixed reactions. While some sympathized with her frustration over the long wait, others were appalled by her approach.

  • "That’s my girl! She goes hard!" one user cheered.
  • "Not a good citizen from Sunset," another joked.
  • "I was in that traffic with her. She’s not lying at all. Now some words were mean, but we were indeed waiting and they didn’t let us go at all."
  • "She waited 30 minutes, then wasted 5 more getting out to argue?"
  • "If she doesn’t like it, I know there are ways around it. Plus, she didn’t even know where her car was."

However, not everyone was on her side:

  • "There’s a way to talk to people, and that wasn’t it."
  • "These guys are fixing the roads y’all complain about. How can they get the job done if y’all act like this?"
  • "She was kind of rude, but yeah… don’t be in a rush to go nowhere."

The debate has sparked conversations about road rage, public behvaior, and our challenges when it comes to navigating these Louisiana road work delays. One thing is for sure—this woman’s message was heard loud and clear, whether people agreed with her or not.
