The subsequent investigation led to the positive identification of Quina Clay as the individual responsible for the opening of the casket.

Guidroz says the two Opelousas women who are currently being sought in the case are 43-year-old Crystal Bell Edmond and 42-year-old Alexis Sally. Major Mark Leblanc tells us these two women were seen at the time the incident happened on Tuesday, December 10, at Serenity Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Law enforcement officials say a worker for a monument company at the graveyard watched some women come to the cemetery following a gravesite ceremony wrapping up. After the people left, the women were seen drinking, and then they walked up to a worker, asking them if they could open up the casket! The worker obviously said, "No."

A little while later, the worker checked on the women and allegedly saw them taking pictures of the body while the casket was open. After the family was notified of what happened with these women, they went to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office to file a complaint.

According to Major Mark Leblanc, spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office, anyone who knows the whereabouts of Alexis Sally or Crystal Bell Edmond has several ways to give anonymous information to them.
