Jason Aldean Returns to Las Vegas for Three-Night Residency in Winter 2019
Jason Aldean has officially shared plans to return to Las Vegas for a three-night residency in December of 2019. Dubbed Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas, the back-to-back performances will take place Dec. 6-8 at Park Theatre at Park MGM.
The newly announced residency takes its name from Aldean's 2019 Ride All Night Tour, an extensive trek that will keep him on the road well into the fall. Despite his packed touring calendar, the singer says he's been meaning to plan a residency like this one for some time.
"I've wanted to bring our show back to Vegas for a while now, and the timing feels right," he explains in a press release. "We're going to pack up the show, set it up for a couple of days and hang out with our Vegas family. I'm looking forward to being back."
It's been a while since Aldean appeared in Vegas for a non-festival performance, though he has an undeniable connection to the city: Aldean was performing at the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival when a gunman opened fire on the massive crowd of concertgoers, killing 58. To this day, the tragedy remains the deadliest non-war shooting in U.S. history to date. Aldean returned to Vegas the following year on a few different occasions, to perform, attend the ACM Awards and visit with survivors, several of whom he invited to watch his pre-ACMS rehearsal.
As a country artist holding a Vegas residency, Aldean sits in distinguished company: Lady Antebellum, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Shania Twain and many more have all enjoyed stints in the city over the past several years. General admission to Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas go on sale on Friday (Aug. 23), but members of the singer's fan club can purchase tickets starting Tuesday (Aug. 20.)
