Numbers show that there are 563 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 6 more hospitalizations than yesterday.

83 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 2 fewer reported patients on a ventilator than yesterday.

LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,298. That is 15 more reported deaths since yesterday.

149,640 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 21th. That's 4,070 more recovered cases than the week before.

Lafayette Parish: 8,969 total cases, 132 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,924 total cases, 77 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,317 total cases, 124 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 2,959 total cases, 97 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,327 total cases, 32 total deaths
