The Acadiana Center for the Arts is such an amazing facility. If you've never visited the ACA, I suggest you do. If you're into ghosts, goblins, and things that go bump in the night then you should schedule your visit to the ACA for this Thursday night.

Washington Irving's classic tale of a headless horseman will ride into the ACA Thursday at 6:30 PM with a performance of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It's the timeless tale of Schoolmaster Ichabod Crane and his attempt win the hand of Katrina Van Tassel only to have his romantic intentions sidelined by what appears to be a headless horseman. Or is that just another suitor trying to scare the young schoolmaster away from Katrina Van Tassel's favors?

Virginia Rep on Tour provides a delightful cast and some exquisite storytelling in this classic tale just in time for the Halloween holiday season. If you're concerned about nightmares following the performance, don't be, the presentation is done in a family friendly way so kids of all ages can enjoy the show.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be presented this Thursday evening at the ACA. Tickets are available for just $10 and may be purchased online or at the door if still available. The box office at the ACA opens two hours before each performance. The Acadiana Center for the Arts is located at 101 W. Vermilion Street in downtown Lafayette.
