Lineup Revealed for 97.3 The Dawg’s 3rd Annual Holiday Hangover Show
Express Employment Lafayette is proud to present 97.3 The Dawg's 3rd Annual Holiday Hangover Show on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette.
The show will star national recording artists Dylan Scott, Parker McCollum and Priscilla Block.
Opening the night will be Acadiana favorites Clay Cormier, Mike Dean and Rory Suire.
The Holiday Hangover Show is an acoustic event where there are two rounds of performers on stage at the same time. The local openers will go first and each take turns playing some of their own songs and perhaps a cover or two. Then for round two, the up-and-coming national acts will do the same.
The best part about this concert is that it's totally free! But you must have a ticket to attend and the only way you can get one is through 97.3 The Dawg.
Be listening starting Tuesday, December 14th on-air for your cue to call in and score a free pair of tickets. You will also be able to register for tickets on the 97.3 The Dawg app.
We've hand-picked the performers playing for you that night.
Louisiana native Dylan Scott has had great success over the last few years with hit songs such as "My Girl," "Hooked," and "Nobody." His most recent album is called Nothing To Do Town.
Parker McCollum has been a mainstay in Texas for quite some time now and has burst onto the national scene after signing a record deal with MCA Nashville. His first single, "Pretty Heart," went #1 in late 2020 and his follow-up, "To Be Loved By You," is currently screaming up the charts.
And Priscilla Block is one of the hotter names on the national country scene. She got her "big break" with a viral song on TikTok that has turned out to be her first big hit on country radio with a song called "Just About Over You."
As we mentioned earlier, this is the third year of the Holiday Hangover Show. Last year, though, we had to cancel it due to the pandemic.
The show does have quite the track record if you're all about seeing acts before they make it big.
In 2019, we brought Granger Smith and some guy named Morgan Wallen to play the show. Then in 2020, Matt Stell, Gabby Barrett and Riley Green were part of the event.
Check out a recap of each of those shows.
