
‘New’ NOLA Airport Is Opening Soon And Here’s How To Get There
After several months of delays and seemingly endless problems with plumbing, the new passenger terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is set to open on November 6th. It's the same airport, but an entirely new facility has been built on the northern part of the field just off I-10 in Kenner.
The state of the art facility will house all passenger traffic, so you will no longer have to go all the way to Airline Drive. The new location is actually much easier to get to if you're coming from Lafayette.

Take I-10 Westbound toward New Orleans
Take Exit 221 (Loyola Drive)
Take a right onto Loyola Drive and you can drive straight into the new terminal.
