Louisiana dropped below ten percent positivity rate for the first time in weeks as of the Monday update from Louisiana Department of Health. That puts us out of the White House red zone of states and Dr. Tina Stefanski says it's because most people are adhering to spread mitigation efforts. The new number sits at 9.4 percent and tracks with the 640 new COVID-19 cases being reported yesterday. Hospitalizations also dropped as well.

Stefanski joined Acadiana's Morning News with Rob Kirkpatrick and Bernadette Lee.
