American Country Awards

LeAnn Rimes was the surprise hit of the American Country Awards last night in Las Vegas, with her emotional tribute to Patsy Cline.

The 2012 American Country Awards were Monday night (Dec. 10), and while the show has improved each year in the three since its introduction to Fox, there is still some room for growth. The support from superstars like Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum proves the show is being embraced by the country music community. With a few tweaks -- some major, some minor -- it could be received with open arms

Nominations are out for the 2nd annual American Country Awards, to be held in Dec in Las Vegas.

It may have been new to our television screens but the outcome certainly wasn't a surprise. Carrie Underwood continued to fill her mantle with even more hardware in last nights Inaugural American Country Awards.
