This is the third year in a row that this team has earned the championship title.

The Acadiana High Wreckin' Rams will be playing for the 5A State Football Championship on Saturday night at 8pm in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Parkway Panthers.

On espn.com there were nearly 6 million people who filled out brackets for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. Two people have all four teams left in the tourney: UConn, Kentucky, VCU, and Butler! That's nuts...or that's very very lucky...or they must've like the teams' colors or mascots. That just blows my mind!

For the second straight year the Abbeville Wildcats are in the Top 28 tournament at the Cajundome. The difference is that this year they're gonna finish the deal! It started last night with an impressive 86-67 over #1 seeded Richwood Rams. Good luck to Coach Berwick Hamilton and his Cats as they hope to bring back the 3A state championship to Vermilion Parish.
