20-year-old Lane Domec of Lafayette has been charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder following a shooting around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Rim Road.

The vacant structure belonged to a family member of the accused.

The incident happened shortly before 9 pm Monday. One suspect is in custody.

Two suspects described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts broke into a home in the 100 block of Paulette Lane north of Crowley on June 25th and detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office need your help catching them.
