As Hurricane Isaac moves inland, we are beginning to get reports of some of the damage. Earlier, we reported about the breached levee in Plaquemines Parish and homes getting flooded there.
I wanted to get a feel of what was going in Lafayette this morning so I hopped in the ole pick-up and took a quick drive around. Traffic was light, which is a great thing! Did not see much in the way of down tree limbs or lights out.
Earlier today a Plaquemines Parish man called New Orleans TV station WWL from his attic. Why? Well, he and his family had to climb up to avoid rushing waters in their home due to a breached levee.
