As we head into the weekend, KATC has just released new information on Tropical Storm Karen.

From KATC : WASHINGTON (AP) - Federal forecasters are slightly reducing their prediction for a busy Atlantic hurricane season.

There have been two named storms so far. What does that have to say about the rest of the season?

From KATC : Tropical Depression #2 has formed over the extreme western part of the Caribbean Sea along the coast of Belize. As of 10am the depression was located at 16.2N 87.6W or about 60 miles east of the coast of Belize. Winds are 35mph and it is moving WNW at 13 mph...
