Tropical Storm Andrea is still pushing toward the Florida coastline with winds of 60mph this morning. The forecast track moves Andrea toward a relatively unpopulated area of northern Florida between Apalachicola and Tampa. Severe weather is expected over central and southern Florida today along with very heavy rains.
Often it's up to you to notice the sky getting dark and the breeze beginning to pick up as a thunderstorm moves in. Even if you do keep an eye to the sky you could still be in some danger from a bolt out of the blue.
